Early this summer, one of our experimental barrel projects stole our hearts. Barrel Blonde was originally intended to be a taproom-only draft release. Since we only had a few kegs, it disappeared fast.
We’ve longed for another taste ever since. We had no choice but to rebrew it, and now it’s back!
Saturday, September 13th, Barrel Blonde will be available not only on draft, but also in bombers for your (and our!) cellars.
Barrel Blonde is an exotic blend of a single beer aged three different ways. One-third was aged in bourbon barrels, one-third in Manhattan cocktail barrels and one-third in Boulevardier cocktail barrels. When we bring them all back together, it creates a unique and indescribable beer like nothing you’ve ever tasted.
Bombers will cost $15 with a limit of three. More bottles will hit Colorado shelves the week after the release party. A limited amount will also reach Kansas City a few weeks later.
If you had the pleasure of enjoying a Barrel Blonde the first time around, you know why we’re so excited to bring it back in full. If not, come down on the 13th, and see why we’re so crazy about it.
