March Events and Holiday Hours

Howdy RNB fans!

Hope you’re enjoying your bombers of Anniversary Ale #1…if you still haven’t picked one up, we recommend you do so ASAP, they’re near gone.

The rest of March will be a busy time at the brewery, we’ve got lots of events and a new beer release for you!

Here’s the bare bones, followed by details:

  • Saturday 3/16: 9am open for St. Patty’s Parade, Maker’s-Mark-aged Avarice at Hops n Pie
  • Sunday 3/17, St. Patrick’s Day: Normal hours. No dyed beer.
  • Monday 3/18: Colorado Craft Beer Week kickoff: $1 off all mainline beers all day
  • 3/19-3/22: Special Wayward tappings TBA (+1 barrel-aged preview)
  • Saturday 3/23 and Sunday 3/24: Barrel Reserve 2013 release
  • Sunday 3/31, Easter: Normal hours

The St. Patrick’s Day parade is on Saturday the 16th this year and starts at 10am. Locals know the city parade runs down Blake Street, right in front of the taproom. We’ll open at 9am to provide the perfect vantage point to watch the festivities.

On St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday the 17th, we’ll hold normal hours (1pm to 7pm). No green beer. Don’t even ask.

The very next day begins Colorado Craft Beer Week, starting on Monday the 18th. We’ll kick it off with $4 mainline beers all day Monday. Throughout the week, we’ll also tap some Wayward experiments and maybe even a sneak peak of a brand new barrel-aged beer. We’ll keep you posted as it approaches. For the grand finale, the week will culminate in a much-anticipated beer release on Saturday the 23rd:

Announcing the official release of Barrel Reserve 2013! After blending several distinct whiskey-aged beers, we bottled 120 cases of this one-time limited release. Both on tap and in bombers to go starting at 1pm Saturday the 23rd. The party continues on Sunday…we’ll keep Barrel Reserve on tap all weekend. Bottles will ship to retail stores the following week.

Finally, Sunday the 31st (Easter), we’ll be open normal hours, 1pm to 7pm.

Also, don’t forget to hit up Hops N Pie Saturday the 16th for Maker’s-Mark-aged Avarice Imperial Stout!

Enjoy the last few weeks of winter, we’ll catch you soon.
