We just received the label approvals for our first two bottled beers! Hypothesis, our Belgian-style double IPA, will be first to bottles, followed soon after by J. Marie, our saison / farmhouse ale.
Why brown? Because it's on 100% recycled paper!
We didn’t have any major hiccups during the approval process, other than the TTB wanted us to spell out “India Pale Ale” on the Hypothesis label. It definitely could have been worse!
Yep, it says IPA and India Pale Ale. Oh well, a little redundancy in exchange for an approved label is fine with us.
Look for us in stores around Denver in the next 3-4 weeks. You’ll also be able to pick these up at our taproom as soon as they’re ready. Make some room in your beer cellar (yes, we know you have one!) because we’re only expecting to be able to bottle about 50 to 100 cases each to start!
River North Brewery will be celebrating Denver’s 50th St. Patty’s Day Parade tomorrow (Saturday)! We’re right on the parade route along Blake Street.
The taproom doors will open at 8am, so stop in for a pint before the parade starts at 10am. The Crock Spot food truck will be right outside serving up some delicious food all day, too!
We are the proud new owners of a few used bourbon barrels! Now what should we put in them? Maybe a bit of barrel-aged saison? Or perhaps some of our upcoming quadrupel? So many choices!
Look for some barrel-aged beers from us very soon!
Just three barrels to start. Many more to come!
Hopheads unite! Our newest beer, Hypothesis, debuts tomorrow at our taproom! This dry-hopped Belgian-style double IPA will blow your mind! (We hope.)
Here are the stats:
The taproom will open an hour early at 2pm tomorrow, so get here early if you want to be the first to taste Hypothesis!
A prototype label design for our Hypothesis Belgian-style double IPA!
